At ROGUE TRIP we provide self-drive adventure road trips across South Africa whilst supporting a local charity.
See South Africa off the beaten track as we drive in convoy across the country's varied landscapes. From canyons, to the Kruger, Drakensburg and beautiful coastlines, this road trip has it all.
Our mission at ROGUE TRIP is to make travel to South Africa more accessible to those who are intrigued by the country and its beauty, but are put off by its dangerous reputation. We offer independent travel but with the security of a team around you who know the country well. We want to show you the magic of South Africa and
let you experience the delights this beautiful country has to offer.
To enter, guests must form a team and hire a vehicle. Each day we will set off in convoy with a staff vehicle leading the fleet, as we embark on this epic adventure.

ROGUE TRIP is a self drive adventure holiday. We map the route, you drive it. But we join you for the ride!
And what’s better? It’s in support of charity!
ROGUE TRIP supports a local South African charity, Build The Future. Our route stops off at a rural pre-school in the mountains of KwaZulu-Natal, where for one day we come together to work as a team to help the local community.
Whether its digging water wells, planting something nutritious, or having a kick about with the locals, your efforts will go a long way and are in the spirit of what we're about;
Enriching the country, meeting the locals and supporting local businesses.
Our trips involve camping but don't let that put you off. If tents aren't your thing, don't worry, every campsite we stay at has the option to upgrade to a room. If you're wondering where to plug in your straighteners, then this may not be the adventure for you...

Create a Team name and REGISTER (one team per vehicle)
STEP 3
Hire a vehicle (don’t worry, we can help advise you with this process)
STEP 4
Meet us at the start line and get ready for one big adventure
STEP 5
Cross the finish line with us and earn some serious bragging rights
after driving yourself 3,500 Kilometres across one of Africa’s greatest countries
Each day we will start and end at a designated campsite.
You have the freedom to go at your own pace, or follow us in convoy.
With ROGUE TRIP you can feel part of a group or go a little ROGUE and adventure off on your own. It's entirely up to you.
As long as we see you each morning and evening, then we're totally cool.
